1. eSight (www.esighteyewear.com) – eSight provides technology that helps people who are legally blind to see. The technology is comprised of a high-definition camera that captures a live video feed of the world around the user, which is then shown to the user through OLED screens in the headset. The user could use the eSight technology hands-free in both stationary and mobile situations, as well as adjusting and magnifying the image according to their needs. The technology works for a multitude of purposes such as reading, watching entertainment, recognizing faces, and being active.
2. Mango Health (www.mangohealth.com) – Mango Health provides a mobile application that enables the user to manage their medication intake schedule. The user would be sent reminders whenever they are to take their medications, as well as receiving all the relevant information about their medications such as side effects and food interactions. Furthermore, the app’s gamification elements enable the user to earn points whenever they are on schedule with their medications. The user would then be enrolled in weekly raffles based on their points value in order to win gift cards and donations.
